Go Daddy CRM for Small Business
We provided UX consulting for the GoDaddy products team on a simplified CRM for small businesses. The goal was to extend GoDaddy’s interactions with customers beyond domain and software purchases. Most CRM software had an unmanageable amount of features for very small businesses and sole proprietors who were GoDaddy’s bread and butter. The team needed help defining the leanest and most compelling experience for the GoDaddy audience and brand. The functionality was accessible both as an Outlook plug-in and as a web dashboard with mobile views. Deb prototyped using Sketch and Invision and incorporated iterative user research from and live customer interviews. As a result of this, the product team was able to define and fully build the v1 feature set and prioritize information and features to expose. The project took 4 months from beginning to the first version ready for public release.
